Iberiaīs IT is notoriously bad, especially when dealing with codeshares. There is no point dealing with AA because it isnīt their flight.
I would have assumed that IB has a way of charging codeshare pax for seat assignments, but it appears not. Keep checking back on iberia.com using the 6-digit Amadeus code.
Otherwise check in online right at T-24 hours.
