Adjacent to terminal 2 are Sheraton and Marriott (next to the terminal) and Hilton and Hilton Garden Inn (a bit futher aways at the long distance train station). All hotels are connect by the same covered walkway with the Terminal 1
They're adjacent to Terminal 1

Walking to the Gateway Gardens area hotels is easy once you've made your way to the "ground floor" at T2. There is a sidewalk on the right hand side of the access road, with traffic lights for pedestrians at the junctions. Keep walking though the freeway underpass, then take a right turn into Kapiän-Lehmann-Strasse. Not ideal with heavy luggage, but doable. The airport people mover is free from T1 to T2.
