I have a very long history with LCQC, probably my favorite hotel, as much for the long-time staff as the property itself. I've stayed in both villas when individual rooms were booked, always carefully choosing times when I was the only room occupied, except my first stay at the hotel. IMO the villas do feel a little "intimate" when more than one couple or group is staying, as much as I love them.

If only the Luna building is impacted by the construction (which would make sense) and the hotel isn't closed can you be moved to another room in the hotel?
I know there aren't many with plunge pools so if that's a "must" I understand.
Frankly, many of the rooms without pools are lovely and large. I think I've seen them all and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. The only time I feel the need for a private pool is at Festive when the hotel is fully booked.
Happy to answer questions (I stayed at LCQC twice last year).
