SQ still is WAY better than the European crap that calls itself 5* airlines.
Sure, SQ isn't as good as it used to be. But still miles better than European "full service carriers" (no food, no drinks on short and mid haul, no seat choice at all, limited beverages, crap food choices, terrible tight Y seating, Y seats in European C..)
Sorry, but also this is NOT true. On LH/LX/OS longhaul meal and drink services are ( still ) included and quality on all flights was quite good ! Within Europe of course not ! But to be true, the quality on the latest SQ meals was a HIT or MISS. AMS-SIN was superb, SIN-FRA was horrible NO choice ! Main course was cold, and choc ice cream already melted like foam ! And Mamanudels only 1 last cup available ! And the foodbox between SIN and Thailand them better not give out @ all ! Not only us 5 pax, almost any pax around i could see tryed and gave it back @ all.
Not speak about EK ! choosing from 3 meals, coming with salad, cheese, a lot of bread from basket and very good dessert.
