There are bad apples in every profession, including drunk pilots, and there always has been. To tar all of the TSA employees with the same brush is overreacting, IMHO. Yes, the bad apples responsible for these latest assaults need to be punished for their crimes. And yes, the TSA may be a flawed entity. But no, all honest hardworking screeners aren't automatically guilty by association.
