So thanks---- but effective today it has been eliminated for all new Venture card applicants.
Sad that Capital One knows less about there won credit card products than the public.
Do you know if any clawback occurred on the $300 travel credit or $200 vacation credit for 2021? One poster has it working with a March 2022 transaction date on the vacation credit to "flip" it.
Have no idea about the ability to 'flip' a credit. Not something I'm interested in...have plenty of ways to use it, and there have even been reports of folks being able to use the vacation rental credit at some pretty 'not rental' places like Kimpton hotels. Have not used the travel credit yet, though I would expect if I booked something then canceled, I would just expect it to be clawed back. I wouldn't use it to book something I had no intention of using.
From reports in other threads, Amex will claw back, and Chase doesn't so much. I did once have to refund an item that was covered by the travel credit on Chase, and it didn't get clawed back. It wasn't intentionally done, just worked out that way. Though I also think it was also a pretty small amount.
