I totally agree with your point and respect what other people do with their points, but I personally won't be spending $3000 worth of points on some villa for one night, because to me there is no difference than expending $3000 in cash for one night which I won't do with my money, is like no valuing the monetary gain in any particular investment.

Where are the places these points can be transferred to? I did the calculation on that site and it says the TD card returns more value for its points than the Platinum.
