It's all down to the mixed messages we have had from our Board of Directors:
1. Directors - "We don't want transfer traffic - it's all low-yield cr*p fares stuff!
2. Transfer traffic declines, staff engaged in passenger/baggage transfer duties laid off.
3. Directors say "Sh*t! Load Factors are way down - we'd better get more bums on seats.
4. Transfer traffic increases - low yield "cr*p" fares abound. Flights full. Not enough staff to check pax in, not enough staff to transfer bags. Pax say BA is "Sh*t" airline. Traffic declines.
5. Rod Eddington says he wants BA to go back to its "Britishness" roots - Cool Britannia and all that jazz! Overseas pax feel isolated and book on other carriers.
6. The latest fiasco is an employee opinion survey about how we can attract more overseas customers back!
Man Alive! This airline has more twists and turns than the Pepsi Max Rollercoaster on Blackpool's Pleasure Beach!!!
