IMO bigotry is about things people can't change. Obviously someone chooses to have a tattoo so I would not use that word personally. Equally, someone can change their view on tattoos so they're not bigots either
If you want to see bigotry just look at the comments on the BA Facebook Page when they updated their logo to Pride colours yesterday.
