there have been some good points made on either side in the thread. i don't think it is clear there is one right answer here. to pretend there is, and to then claim everyone who doesn't agree with you is intolerant/bigot etc. seems to be a very poor way of trying to have a sensible discussion on this issue.
I haven't expressed an opinion on the subject at hand, other than the people who another poster suggested may be bigots, might return with a retort I surmised based on comments mentioned upthread. No offense inteded.
