I’m genuinely astounded by the bigotry in some of the comments above. Whilst I appreciate we’re talking about another airline’s policy, I couldn’t care less about if BA relaxed their policies on this (or other requirements) for their staff. I want a skilled, competent, personable and consistent employee to engage with me every time. Age, sex, race, sexual orientation, religious beliefs or tattoos (to name just a few) really doesn’t matter.
