Funny how people will cheer onto the Lost Cost carrier from LH, while LH group now doesn't even allow you to choose a seat (yes, at checkin that is) for free - you want to seat anywhere but the last row, middle seat the airline has picked for you, valued status customer? Please pay 30€ for that "privilege".
SQ still is WAY better than the European crap that calls itself 5* airlines.
Sure, SQ isn't as good as it used to be. But still miles better than European "full service carriers" (no food, no drinks on short and mid haul, no seat choice at all, limited beverages, crap food choices, terrible tight Y seating, Y seats in European C..)
