Yes same for me at ARN a couple of months ago. Was asked the purpose of the trip and needed to show proof of hotel stay and departure flight.
As above, the BA app was playing silly games and I had to find my email receipt in the end. All very friendly but a bit of a surprise after decades of smooth travel to and from the EU.
