I have an Amex 2for1 *A award ticket BGO - BKK return booked for the summer holiday.
The return flight is BKK - IST -OSL - BGO.
I had a nice 1h 20min connection is OSL, but this was today changed to a late evening flight and 10h connection time. Below MCT according to the agent…
There are several better connecting flight available OSL-BGO when searching on SAS.no (SK flights - not WF)

I talked to SAS customer service to change to a better connection, but they claim that the other flights available with EB points can not be combined with *A award ticket.

Any experience with this ? Sounds very strange to me, but when I tried to argue with the agent she got really upset and was not willing to listen at all….
