Okay back with another question. Are the minimum connection times in expertflyer what BA use? I am looking at SOF where expertflyer gives a 45 minute MCT and the BA flight arrival and departure is 35 minutes. I’m sure I’ve heard people doing b2b before but is it no longer possible? (I also checked KEF and found a similar thing)
You can do a B2B as both airports empty into the departures hall, however if the MCT is greater then the turn around time, BA won't sell you 1 ticket to allow you do an out and back on the same aircraft (and thus protect you). All B2B's in the case of SOF or KEF are 2 x 1 way tickets or nested tickets across multiple flights.
