but I'd love to be corrected if I'm wrong, you CAN have two FFPs in the FQTV field. From the above experience, I was swapping between my *G and non-*G account the evening before my flight by calling Reservations, and this is what I noticed.
The telephone agent inputted my desired FFP, and it showed up in the following places:
- on your boarding pass, paper or digital
- on aircanada.com under passenger details
- at the check-in kiosk
Those factors led me to believe that I'd successfully changed to my lone, desired FFP
However, TWO FFPs showed up on:
- the Cowtool PNR viewer
- at the MLL agent's computer
In the latter case, she was freaked out that there was two and promptly asked which one I'd like removed, which also put me on the spot because I certainly hadn't expected to have two in the field, either.
I had no idea what would have happened if I flew with two FFPs attached, mainly because I had the baggage issue described above to sort out
Haha when I read the underlined part, I was going to reply about the cowtool. But I see you covered it.
I know for sure you can add one FQTV per segment. I'm not really sure what would happen if you had two in general. cowtool doesn't do a great job of displaying it when you have multiple, but it's so obscure I didn't think it was worth any more effort than just listing both.
Nothing bad would happen, but if it was done "wrong", the flight might post to the wrong program.
