Sorry to resurrect a very old thread.
I have a family member just arrived with a severely damaged bag on a AC international flight. Got a daamged baggage receipt at YYZ. We filled out the AC online form provided on the receipt. How do we get hold of AC to get a new bag or replacement ? Been on hold with the baggage number from the receipt for one hour.
I recall reading somewhere that there is a AC store/depot where you can go pickup a bag with a receipt ? Passenger will be leaving in 2 weeks and we do not want to wait till the last day to get a replacement.
I guess I can call the AC SE line but not sure if that would be much help on a damaged bag issue.
