We typically prefer as new of a hotel as possible. Previously had booked Hilton paddington with no up charge for 2 queen beds but reviews are pretty bad.

double tree suite looks huge at 900sqft and proper two rooms with a tub and shower and potential for nice view of tower bridge.

Downside, Not as new and food breakfast not as good as canopy.

canopy is brand new and our style. Looks like better breakfast. But much smaller space, no tub, no lounge and 20k/nt more.

with kids and this being our final leg on a 3 week trip which means lots of bags and prob quite a bit of shopping. Which would you pick?
I stayed in a city view suite a couple of years back and it was huge and impressive, it also overlooked tower bridge, I’m sure I wrote a review a few posts back, take a look it may help with your decision.

Update - post #95 onwards, I even posted some photos.
