You don't necessarily need someone who has had experience with both, just ask folks why they chose one over the other. For me I was initially interested in the classic, but ended up with the original because the edges on the classic are too square and will take the brunt of all impacts, and the handles are fabricated and can easily deteriorate compared to the all intact handles on the the original. And above all the original is the original and will maintain its value in time. Some people ask questions to receive honest answers and others ask only to see if people agree with them. I wouldn't buy anything from Rimowa unless it was the original model. They've really screwed up their brand in my opinion.
