Question on driving from Frankfurt to Milan and see some sights along the way. Two questions:
1. How are the roads between Frankfurt to Milan? The toll roads are listed as A5, A67, A6, A2, A3, A1, A8, E35. Are these "normal" roads and highways or are there any curvy mountainous single lane roads with 2 way traffic overlooking a cliff?

There are NO toll roads in Germany (only trucks must pay). If you drive through Switzerland you must buy a vignette
