Flew out of PHX for the first time in a few years this past Thursday 5/26. AA 5:00AM to DFW. Self inflicted as had to get east for an event that afternoon. TSA Pre line was closed. Not especially unusual anywhere at 4AM, but what was unusual was no laminated plastic cards stating you were TSA Pre. As a result had to go through the regular line (which was quite long) taking off shoes, belt, remove laptop, tablet, liquids, etc. Don’t remember ever having that happen before. Even the tiniest airports use the cards. AC doesn’t open until 5, few restaurants open, so all in all a pretty dismal morning.
