Reading between the lines... "based on availability" probably means "based on expected demand." To justify the cost, there need to be many passengers who require a later transfer.

TMA seaplane schedules are constantly changing, even on the day of travel. It's not like how other airlines are run.
But the resort handles all these details. You just need to get through immigration and meet the Conrad rep. They'll do everything else.
If you are able, it'd be a good idea to switch to an earlier arrival. But if not, I wouldn't worry.
