It's not exclusive to Skyteam.
As I mentioned, I sent her to the only true Skyteam office at Malaga that wasn't operated by a 3rd party (not that it should matter) and of course they could not/would not help.
I find it universal between OW/ST/SA that they are eager to sell but are incredibly resistant to help out when their is a problem with each others tickets.
Being in alliance has nothing to do with being able to change another carriers ticket. They didn't agree to handle each others CS when joined alliance.
