As a reminder, KE awards are priced as return. There is no one-way award level but you can book a one-way at the return price. If you, however, book a return award, whether that be on KE or another partner, you will pay ½ the miles for the KE award.
For example: J award LAX-SYD return, both awards booked on the same PNR.
KE LAX-ICN-SYD 62.5K as part of a return award.
QF SYD-LAX 55K
Total 117.5K return.

Ooooh! Is that true for Singapore Airlines as well? Because KE was 125k and they were 145k.
So, I guess that means I need to wait a few weeks until my return date (May 11ish) is bookable and hope the outbound is still available.Thank you!
I'm still puzzled as to why I can't get QF to work, though.
