Here on the AY forum we seem to laugh such prices off by default. But perhaps we shouldn't. Maybe that is the going rate for a 3-hour upgrade in Europe?
It all depends on if you have status or not, I doubt many are paying the 150EUR for the seat/catering experience but rather extra bags and weight, priority services and lounge access, in those cases it could be worth it. So yes, if someone is Plat or higher on AY it is indeed laughable when we see exorbitant upgrade pricing for SH flights.
