Hi all,

BA have just cancelled Saturday morning's flight 178 JFK-LHR departing 7:55am. I was booked in First (upgraded with avios from a cash biz ticket). Manage my booking proposes only to move to me to AA's day flight a couple of hours later in business class.

I am now trawling through the various FT resources around delays, cancellations, re-rerouting etc but it's a complex area and seems I may be due some compensation.

Given I only have a few hours sleep now and potentially need to re-arrange my ticket shortly, would anybody kind enough to quickly advise the best strategy to maximise my position?
