That is correct but there are two things to watch out for:
1. When a debit comes in, it does not say who made the charge. My son and my daughter both have AU cards and while I have told them to let me know when they buy something on it and how much they paid for it -- that is the only way I can be certain that there are no false charges on my statement.
2. If one AU loses his card, or has it stolen, all of the cards (in my case, my son's, my daughter's, and my own) are shut down and we have to wait for new cards, with different numbers, to be sent to us.
This is true of like 99% of Mastercard/Visa issuers, isn't it? I would have said all, but i know that my Sony Visa card issued by Comenity has different card numbers for my card and my wife's.
