Well this escalated quickly!
That was indeed made clear by the OP, and I never stated anything to the contrary. However there is no law or rule that we can't hypothesise or offer relevant anecdotes as far as I am aware.
i.e.
“I think it's very presumptuous and selfish to think playing music out loud on public transport is a reasonable thing to do.”
How/why is practisting your sax acceptable on BA? Or any other airline?
Now I am even more confused than you are! Where did I say it was generally acceptable? I was saying precisely the opposite, as a general rule. I'm not sure how my statement could have been misinterpreted in any other way. You're agreeing with me as far as I can tell.
What I did say is that I
have practiced on board with an electronic sax and explicitly stated that this was with earphones. Nobody can hear you, it's not an acoustic instrument.
In the case of the Kenny G clip I offered, this was in aid of cancer research, and I offered it as an anecdotal
exception. This is very clearly explained in the clip.
After that, you might consider:your teeth?”
I have no idea what this means. Would you care to elucidate?
Peace.
