Okay, but why are you apologizing if you disagree with my post? Clearly my experience is of my own, I didn't travel with kids/family, unlike how you did. I'm just simply stating my experience review as a solo traveler. Let my review be as is.
And that's totally fine for you to say that "there's nothing wrong with the exterior of the hotel". Hotel has begun construction in a lot of the places as listed on their website... So I'm pretty sure someone in management scratched their head and went "uh yeah, there's something wrong and we need to start construction".

We did a ton of research prior to our recent stay and knew what to expect going into it in terms of location and distance to things off-site, as well as what there is on offering at the hotel and Papagayo itself. I also had no issues with the exterior of the hotel and not sure what you were expecting. Sorry it didn't live up to your expectations.
