Thanks for your review, but I couldn't disagree more about a lot of what you wrote. Honestly (Please don't take this the wrong way!) this isn't a "clubby" young persons resort with abundant nightlife and a happening scene, which kind of sounds like what you were looking for?
We did a ton of research prior to our recent stay and knew what to expect going into it in terms of location and distance to things off-site, as well as what there is on offering at the hotel and Papagayo itself. I also had no issues with the exterior of the hotel and not sure what you were expecting. Sorry it didn't live up to your expectations.
