Anyway, I am done with United and will kiss my 1K status goodbye next year. I asked her to cancel my flight, she said I can get flight credit, and I told her that wouldn't work. I asked her to speak to a supervisor but after waiting for 10 minutes she gave me a full refund. 10 minutes later, I have booked myself in Qatar - Q Suites for $6K.
OMG you are SO much better off -- that is arguably the best business product in the world -- once you settle into your suite all of this nonsense will be forgotten -- and you will realize the universe was looking out for you - trust me.... And once they bring the food -- you will be 100% sure....
