CLT/FRA in J review
Long time EP with many Flagship Business / BA fights under belt. Flew CLT/Frankfurt on 5/23. Blown away how crappy the experience was. I usually fly Int via ORD or JFK so used to Flagship lounge. I do JFK/LHR multiple X per year so that's my reference point.
1) How AA charges $Ks for a seat on a flight out of a hub without providing some type of differentiated lounge experience, is staggering. Plus we all know large CLT Adm club is closed so B term club is only option and its like shopping at a mall thanksgiving wknd.
After waiting 12 min in access line, I showed bartender ticket and asked if B/F class ticket allowed for something and he said "we don't do that anymore"........ And I can't believe that when AA reopens term C club, it's still only going to be the basic service level....
2) It seems like crew and service experience matches the lounge/airport level. No PDB in B class, no bottle of water at seat. No "primary" linen placed on table before meal, an empty sock from inbound flight under footwell, used items from swag bag still in one of the seat side storage areas, empty kleenex box in bathroom and no cabin staff with knowledge if there was an arrivals lounge in FRA.
Ive read this forum for years for info, I use trip advisor for same. This is my first ever experience post. I've never sent cust serv a note but my experience was so disappointing, I had to post my first ever "report". I only hope someone from AA calls me to discuss. I don't want anything other than to provide feedback because it was so shockingly underwhelming.....
