On what grounds? You weren't ordered to do anything - the FA is equally free to make requests that are in their mind the considerate thing to do.
No one was building a B-17. They had 41 minutes. All the time in the world. I had 2 1/2 hours of late night driving to do. The FA was a moron for even making the request, She should well know that 41 minutes is plenty of time to make a connection.
