I would have done that, but the day after was not among the options offered—-no award seats available (I already knew that as I checked availability before requesting the change).
So I originally planned to book March 25, which was available the first time I looked. But when I went to actually make the change 2 days later (satisfied by my inquiry here that I could do this online), March 25 was gone. But March 24 was available, so I decided to take that.
When I went to MMB and chose the “date change only” from the change options, the next screen offered March 22, 23, 24, 27, and maybe one more. But when I chose March 24, the next screen confirmed March 23, 3 times.
It’s OK. I am glad I was able to change the flights so easily to accommodate our change in plans. And I am glad to know I’m not alone with this problem. 😏
