It's even worse from Australia. I have 900k Qantas points that I can't even use on any of the dates I want (no 2 seats available on any of the dates that I want), even with flights a year in advance. 1 is hard enough, 2 is impossible, a family of 4 - forget about it.

To be fair, it feels more Qantas being stingy rather than partners as AA seems to have more partner availability, but it's really frustrating. Why would I waste points on economy?

​​​​​​First class award bookings are likely to be dead going forward, even if you're flexible it'll generally be 1 ticket, the rare 2 here and there.
