The entire problem is that PN and PZ aren’t supposed to be open when there is a list. That’s the point of the thread findark kindly linked.

It’s good to know that it happens, but it’s undoubtedly a glitch, and if you were #1 on the list and got jumped because somebody else noticed that the space had opened and grabbed it, you’d probably be nonplussed.
