I'm looking at an AA metal flight which is available for $239 booked through JetBlue (codeshare) and is $299 through AA.

Are there any disadvantages booking the codeshare? I'm EXP but have no status on JetBlue... do I still get all my status benefits (upgrades, MCE, baggage, free SDC)?

EDIT: I booked it. The trip auto-populated in the AA app and I was able to select MCE for free but there isn't even an upgrade section. I'm going to give it a while to sort itself out and then off it doesn't auto-request it, call the EXP desk?
