Not to create thread drift, but for the first time I can remember my companion certificate (Barclays) was really worth it. I was booking DCA-BNA this summer for the two of us and the prices were insane ($600-700 for a coach RT) and was able to use the companion cert to cut the price by $500 or so. If only they were not such a pain to book.
