To support this, the conversion process was halted because UA expected 50 of the 777-200s that were grounded, the ones with Pratt-Whitney Engines to be back in service earlier this year, however that was delayed and the entire wide body fleet was stretched to the point that they couldn't spare the aircraft to be Out of Service for 75 days.
The repair for the 772s with the PW engines has been approved and they are slowly being returned to service. As of this writing, 7 of them have been marked as released from storage and are ether in service now or very close (as in a few hours away from being back in service).
I would speculate UA is in the process of getting the MOD lines back open to send a few more of the few remaining stragglers with the old seating configuration into MOD, whether it be securing hanger space, getting the new seats from storage to XMN where they will be converted, getting labor, etc.
