Yes - I’ve noted the code was wrong (not sure why I thought it was FFM). It has to be from LHR as LCY is a pain for me to get to.
Turns out it’s not a BA thing… it’s our company system. It isn’t showing the flights our travel policy won’t allow. The problem is when I look at the BA website, it’s actually cheaper than what the company system gives me! It won’t show most of the options above, and the only flight available on BA is just not great time-wise.
But even so, there seem to be only TWO flights per day from LHR…
All sorts of weird and wonderful things kick in on company travel websites. There are (or at least were) often "kick backs" involved where if the company flies X number of segments on particular routes then there is a refund/credit. So the price you see, claim and expense is often not what the company actually ends up paying
Pre covid LH had loads of FRA to LHR (roughly every hour or 2)
BA had a few (roughly every 2 to 4 hours)
Currently demand does not justify the same number of flights from both airlines
