So for the last two weeks I can't find a single seat from LAX, ORD, TYO, IAD etc to Tokyo all summer in Economy. Cash prices for all economy flight are already trending towards nuts.

• How much is fuel surchage contributing to prices? I think ANA mentioned a surcharge - might seats release after that?
• Is there some other macro event happening that is impacting ANA bookings?
• Even during the pandemic , there was always an award seat on some flight...

My wife has given up waiting for a human when calling ANA. Was hoping people here might be more clued in..
