It a bit of a extrapolation to get that from the website for Plats. Also see the UA representative statements in the wiki. Things changed in 2016.

The proof will be a plat reporting the button appearing. Over the years Plats (like myself) have been declined when calling in (although a rare occasional success report has occurred)
