I would like to buy 2 x CW/Business flights one way to MIA for a specific date next year (21st April) using Avios for as much of the payment as possible. I understand ex-EU is cheaper due to taxes and have been trying to book via quite a few different hubs (although the thought of trying to position from MAN fills me with fear)

There are no BA reward seats for my date from LHR. There is, however, a possible AA BCN-MIA but at the moment it’s more than 300 days away (I gather I cannot see flights for AA on BA.com until that point)

I am getting very confused about what is and isn’t possible or visible to book using BA.com. I’ve done a lot of reading but the majority is about a pre-Covid world and doesn’t seem to apply. Is there a scarcity of TATL reward seats in general? I am trying to get the flight as cheaply as possible and use my Avios but I just can’t see how.
