Yikes - with those dietary restrictions I’m not sure ANA is going to be your cup of tea either so maybe SQ is the stuff. FWIW I found the JAL FAs (and all ANA FAs as well) to be fantastic. It doesn’t hurt to be the only passenger in F on every flight the past couple years and to have basic but passable Japanese I suppose, but the attentiveness and accommodation was off the chart. I had complete control over the temperature in the cabin (I was asked without prompting what temp I would like for the flights on both airlines) and they really went above and beyond all the way around. I will say that the JAL hard product is pretty dated at this point and I would take The Suite over it any day of the week. Bit more detail here:

Ya the JAL flight I open the menu and Sushi of course and then Beef or Salmon (the one fish I dont like). It was tough. But I also found the desserts totally uninventive. Nothing like QR desserts or what I see SQ has. Dont recall anything special with the arrival meal. To me theh CX F seat is also so much better than JL F. The worst was my JL J flight . I dont get all the hype on Apex seats. I just dont get it. I would take a reverse herringbone Super Diamond any day over that Apex seat.
At any rate, I am going to think on this a bit more but with out the Room I am thinking more of going towards SQ b/c every review for service & food looks so great with them. I hope I can score a bulkhead. The diff in foot space in the bulkhead might be more on that A350 than any other plane I am familiar with. Huge open ottoman and you can sleep straight. The width looks massive too, certainly more than the The Room 777 option.
