Unused e-ticket / e-credit disappeared
For the past year, I've had an eCredit from an unused e-ticker in my Delta wallet. Up until a few months ago, it listed the amount of the credit (around $100). More recently, it said the value could not be calculated and I needed to call in to use it. I am not attempting to do that.
Yesterday I called to confirm the amount, but was told that it would only become available when actually booking a ticket. I was also told I could do that on the website and it would display in the final step. Well, of course, that didn't work, so I called back again today.
I opted to try to use the chat feature to avoid the 4 hour hold time. Chat agent said they could book the ticket and apply the mystery eCredit amount, but after working on it for 3 hours, they confessed they would need to refer it to a "ticketing specialist" for follow-up. That was 8 hours ago. I have since called and been told that if chat said they were working on it, to relax, and it would all work out. I should expect to be texted the amound and the voucher code today. That was 6 hours ago.
The eCredit has now completely disappeared from my Delta wallet. I feel like this has taken a bad turn and gone into a black hole. Advice?
