correct. I had the suite out of lax back in the fall but not long after that the old product started rotating back in there. If you were doing F I would say still worth it (although jal F is great too) but if not then maybe SQ (I have no experience with their recent product)
The flipping over to make a bed seems weird to me but really as long as I can recline either in normal set up or once flipped to a bed I am fine. Bulkhead looks great too with the huge ottoman but the other rows if I am not mistaken the footwell is at a weird angle.
I want to try SQ for the FA's, service, food as it seems from all the reviews I have read the best (imo).
Not sure going to JFK to get The Room is worth it. If it was a special plane with a shower or you know something to differentiate besides just the larger width seat & door I'd do it for sure.
