Thanks for this, my planned trips to Germany in June have suddenly become quite a lot cheaper.

I have a question that is not answered - how does it work if I buy the ticket at a ticket machine? Will it be on a flimsy piece of paper that might get very tatty if it was fully used for a month? Do I have to type in my name and it gets printed on the ticket, or do I have to write it on the ticket?
