In terms of price Conrad goes for about 2000 to 3000 baht per night whereas kimpton maa-lai goes doe 6000-8000 baht.
IIRC, Conrad rooms were refurbished / updated not too long ago, but it would still not change a recommendation for the Kimpton in my book.
