After breakfast, we though it would be a good idea to detox a bit in the sauna and steam room. We quickly changed and spent about 45 minutes sweating out all the food and drinks we had consumed over the weekend. Sufficiently cleansed, we headed back to the room to pack up and get ready to go.

Bye Olive 8
My friend was due to pick us up at 1:30, but we figured it would be better to go around 12:45. Unfortunately, as I was loaded my massive bag into the car, it ripped down the middle. This was going to be an issue, as I certainly didn’t want to load a bag that was half open. Thankfully there was an Ikea near the airport and I was able to replace my torn bag in minutes.
Upon arrival at the airport, we were greeted with an empty baggage drop-off kiosk. A friendly man who was also trying to check in told me he had been waiting for four hours, while his friend had been waiting since 8:30am. Yikes. I guess that’s what you can expect when flying on an airline that has less than 10 daily flights from the airport. After a quick call to the JetBlue office in Seattle, a nice woman came down to check our bags. This only took 10 minutes, and after this, we headed to the Centurion Lounge. I was quite nervous there would be a long wait to get in, but thankfully we were admitted after about five minutes. We settled in and sampled some of the food and drinks. The food was quite good, particularly the tortellini alfredo and the beef. I also had the Team Spirit, one of the lounge’s signature cocktails. This was fantastic, and was honestly the best drink I’ve ever had in a Centurion. To be fair, I’m a sucker for tequilla cocktails, but this was truly delicious.

Wouldn't find flying Emirates F to DXB!

After about an hour and a half in the Centurion, I sought out a change of scenery and made the quick walk to the Alaska Lounge in the C gates. This was much less crowded, and had some fantastic runway views. After downing two Crikey IPAs and watching an ANA 787 take off, I returned to the Centurion where I grabbed my bags and we headed off to the S terminal where our flight was about to board.

Just realized I missed two whole paragraphs! Oops, sorry about that. I'm sure the Ikea pic made no sense!
