Adding some data points for those curious about the current state of the lounge. The lounge opens at 2:00 pm ET daily and is no longer accessible via Priority Pass. I purchased a Plaza Premium package earlier this year knowing I’d be able to use the VS lounges at IAD and EWR. This lounge is small, but food and drinks are included for free, and the menu is decent. I attached screenshots of the current menu since the one on the website is outdated. They had a full bar, although spirits were not included in the drinks you could order to your seat (I assume you could just go to the bar and ask for whatever you wanted). The champagne was decent.

There are three single use bathrooms, one with a shower. There are some pretzels, apples, oranges, sodas and teas out near the bar in addition to the menu. The lounge is on the small side, and the upstairs seating was roped off for some reason, but it’s a nice space to relax if you have a few hours and don’t mind paying for access if it’s not included with your ticket. Now that the lounge is under full Plaza Premium control, it gives the Turkish lounge a run for its money (although this one is inaccessible with Priority Pass). Hope this helps!
